ISR Solutions awarded DuPont contract

CHANTILLY, Va. - ISR Solutions announced in September that it has been awarded a contract with DuPont.

ISR Solutions is using Andover Controls for the installation and retrofit of DuPont’s existing access control system for their buildings in Richmond, Virginia.

DuPont makes a wide range of products, such as Teflon non-stick coatings, Lycra premium stretch fibers and Corian countertops.
Engineering firm clinches prison deal

SYOSSET, N.Y. - Cameron Engineering has won part of an $80 million contract for a closed-circuit television security system on New York City’s Riker’s Island.

The system, designed by Cameron, will be installed in a 448-bed maximum security addition at the city’s prison. Components of the system include door-lock controls, intrusion alarm, emergency door release, fire alarm interconnection, control room layout and control-panel design.

The company has previously done work on jails in Nassau and Suffolk counties and the Nassau County Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
D3Data converts school from hardware- to software-based system

MILL CREEK, Wash. - D3Data LLC has been awarded a contract to change a video monitoring system at the Atlanta School District from a tape and digital video recorder-based system to a network-based system.

The system from D3Data will allow users to remotely login to a server and to manage the video information on the network.

At each school in Atlanta, all of the CCTV camera coax connections run into a central server room and then into a rack-mounted system from Axis that converts analog video to digital video.
