OMAHA, Neb.—Convergint Technologies, a global systems integrator based in Schaumburg, Ill., expanded its capabilities by opening an office here recently. This location has expertise in several different kinds of integrated solutions and has a special focus on installation, service and support.

“We are excited to expand Convergint’s presence with the opening of the CTC in Omaha,” Bob Peplinski, Convergint Technologies general manager, Omaha, said in the announcement. “This new facility allows us to enhance our ability to deliver our professional services across the region. We’re grateful to have the opportunity to grow and better service the needs of our valued clients in Nebraska.”

Convergint provides “some of the most innovative solutions available in the Omaha market and across the globe,” the company said. “These solutions reach far beyond system installation. System testing, preventative maintenance, web-based reporting, and around-the-clock emergency service are available on all systems, not just those Convergint installs. Convergint’s trained and certified technicians are committed to delivering unequaled customer service on these systems.”

Ken Lochiatto, CEO of Convergint Technologies, told Security Systems News, after the company’s most recent acquisition of FSI in December, that Convergint eclipsed $1 billion at the end of 2018. “In November, we eclipsed our 4,000th colleague, which is pretty hard to fathom ... five years ago we had around 1,100 colleagues,” he said.
