Diversified appoints CEO, president

SADDLE BROOK, N.J.-Diversified Security Solutions' board of directors appointed James Henry chairman and chief executive officer and Irvin Witcosky president of the company.

Both Henry and Witcosky are co-founders of Diversified. Henry previously served as president and chief executive officer, while Witcosky served as vice president.

A sixth member was also appointed to the company's board of directors. Joseph Ritorto, an attorney and business executive, brings to the board experience in the aviation industry and an understanding of that industry's security needs.

Diversified recently completed an initial public offering. Funds from the IPO will in part be used to finance an expansion in markets such as airports, transit systems and large buildings.

ACSC reopensfollowing fire
DENVER-Arapahoe County Security Center, owner of a chain of security and locksmithing companies, reopened in a rebuilt and remodeled facility here in December after a fire destroyed the original building earlier in 2001.

ACSC operates National Safe & Vault Inc., National Safe Outlet, Clark County Safe & Lock and Arapahoe County Locksmiths Inc. In addition to its headquarters here, the company operates a branch office in Las Vegas.

Tech firms form homeland security group
BELLEVUE, Wash.-Four security-oriented technology companies joined forces in January to form the Homeland Security Coalition to help government and commercial organizations identify and assess security risks and develop and apply solutions.

Charter members of the coalition are AskMe Corp., Bellevue, Wash.; Fingerprint USA, Haymarket, Va.; and Ksolutions, and Trustwave Corp., both of Annapolis, Md.
