FORT WORTH, Texas—The Central Station Alarm Association may be renamed “The Monitoring Association,” if CSAA members approve the name change in a June 7 vote.
Earlier this week CSAA announced the keynote speaker for this year’s CSAA Annual Meeting, held in Marco Island, Fla., from Oct. 22-27: Tasha Eurich, organizational psychologist and author of New York Times bestseller Bankable Leadership.
CSAA released a preliminary schedule for its 2016 annual meeting, to be held at the Marriot Resort on Marco Island, Fla., Oct. 22-26. Educational sessions will be held from Oct. 24-26.

CSAA is starting a new project with Verisk Analytics, a firm that studies data on insurance as well as other industries. The organizations will be “examining the impact of professionally monitored alarm systems on insurance risk,” according to a recent release from CSAA.
